Rockingham Forest Trust invite you to go along to Stanwick Lakes on the 23rd or 24th of September and be a part of ‘Making History’! This fabulous FREE 2 day Victorian event will have a host of Traditional Crafts demonstrations, the amazing re-enactor group ‘The Ragged Victorians’, Morris dancers, period music, family activities and traditional refreshments.
The ‘Making History’ weekend celebrates the completion of Rockingham Forest Trust’s four year Heritage Lottery funded project, Trading Places. It is also the finale event of the 2017 Nene Valley Festival which celebrates the Wildlife, Heritage and Culture of the Nene Valley. The event is free and runs from 11:00am to 4:00pm on both days, standard car parking charges apply
