New website
The Council has been working on improving communication and engagement with the community for several months and part of this process has been to develop a new website called which will replace the Council’s current website once all the information has been transferred. The new website will help the Council to make its information more easily accessible which is a legal requirement under new openness and transparency legislation but also to ensure it is acting in the best interests of Great Addington residents. Northamptonshire County Council Draft Equalities Objectives Consultation
The County Council has a duty under the Equality Act 2010 to review its objectives every four years and it is asking for local residents and service users for their views. NCC must state what it will do to try to reduce inequalities in the county (especially the needs of protected characteristic groups) and so if you would like to take part in this consultation, please visit the consultations page before Friday 14 August 2015.

Date of the next meeting
The next meeting of the Council will be held in the Memorial Hall, Great Addington on Wednesday 19th August 2015 at 7:45 pm. and the agenda will be available (on the website and the notice board) 3 clear days before this date. Please note that members of the public have the right to attend any meeting of the Council.
